Esperance sandplain and the Mallee are a long way from Perth, so we plan Esperance runs ahead and group jobs together to keep travel costs down. Book early, and tell your neighbours. We do in-crop work and summer weed spraying on the same runs.

Spraying through the Esperance year
The Esperance region covers the sandplain around Esperance and Scaddan, and the Mallee country north through Grass Patch and Salmon Gums. Barley, canola, wheat and lupins are the main crops, and big paddocks and long distances shape how we work here.
- December to March: summer weed control, especially after summer rain events bring weeds up quickly on the sandplain.
- April to June: knockdown and early post-emergent herbicide around seeding.
- July to September: in-crop herbicide and fungicide, and wet paddocks on heavier or low-lying soils.
- Spring: insect sprays and crop-topping where the label allows aerial application.
Because Esperance is a long run from Perth, we schedule set trips and fill them with jobs. Book early and tell your neighbours: everyone on the same trip shares the travel cost.
