Drone spraying Perth blocks, orchards and reserves

Orchards and vineyards

Fungicide, insecticide and nutrient sprays in the Hills and the Swan Valley, with no tractor in wet rows.

Lifestyle blocks

Weeds and pasture on small acreage and steep blocks, where a quad or boom can’t safely go.

Councils and reserves

Declared weeds, wetlands, firebreaks and bushland edges that are slow or unsafe to reach on foot.

Quarry and mine rehab

Seeding and weed control on batters, pits and rehab areas around the Perth region.

Flying close to the city

Spraying near Perth takes more planning than spraying out in the Wheatbelt, and we do that work before we quote.

  • Airspace: we check every site against controlled airspace around Perth, Jandakot and other airfields, and get approval where it is needed.
  • People and property: we keep the distances from people, houses and roads that CASA rules require, and plan around label buffer zones.
  • Licensed and insured: we hold a CASA ReOC (CASA.ReOC.9814), a remote pilot licence, chemical accreditation and full insurance.

If a site can’t be flown safely or legally, we’ll tell you up front rather than after you’ve booked. You can read more about the rules for drones on the CASA website.

FAQ

Common questions

Yes. Lifestyle blocks, orchards and reserves are quoted per job, so the price reflects the size, the terrain and the product.

Within limits. CASA rules require us to keep clear of people and property not involved in the job, and product labels set buffer zones. We check your site before we quote.

Yes. Terrain following holds the drone at a set height above the slope, so steep blocks and batters get even coverage. They take longer to fly, which is reflected in the quote.

The product and access to clean water. We only apply products whose label or APVMA permit allows aerial application.
